Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using the Internship and Jobs Portal of BAU, College of Arts & Design of Barcelona, the user declares to have read, understood and accepted the present terms and conditions of use, as well as the privacy policy and the treatment of personal data.

This portal aims to facilitate the connection between students, alumni and collaborating companies for the development of academic internships, service scholarships and job opportunities related to the field of design and creativity.

1. Recipients and access requirements

• BAU students: they must be enrolled in an official program and meet the established conditions to be able to formalize a curricular or extracurricular internship agreement.
• BAU Alumni: they can access published job offers and professional collaborations, as long as they keep their data updated.
• Collaborating companies and entities: they must provide truthful information about their organization and the offers published, and undertake to respect the current regulations on university internships and data protection.

2. Responsibility for the information

BAU is not responsible for the content, veracity or updating of the offers published by third parties (companies or entities), nor for the applications sent by students or alumni.

Both companies and users assume responsibility for the information they provide and the use they make of the portal.

3. Correct use of the portal

The user agrees to:

• Use the portal only for legitimate academic or professional purposes.
• Not to introduce false, offensive or discriminatory content or content that violates the rights of third parties.
• Do not misuse other users’ data or published contacts.
• BAU reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules or misuse the service.

4. Data Protection

Personal data collected through the portal will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (RGPD) and Organic Law 3/2018, for the sole purpose of managing the processes of internships, job placement and relations with collaborating companies.

Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, opposition or deletion by contacting BAU, College of Arts & Design of Barcelona (c/ Pujades, 118, 08005 Barcelona) or by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

5. Modifications and validity

BAU may update or modify these terms at any time to adapt them to regulatory changes or new features of the portal. The modifications will be published in this same space, and continued use of the portal will imply acceptance of the new conditions.
